i think with writing and music and graphic design sculpture it is ok to try. and fail. and hold your head up.
with painting, i think if you try, you start the timer to "succeed at painting" and when the timer goes off, if
you aren't there. you throw away all your stuff. or... we kill you.

in other times opera was considered the ultimate and highest art form, fusing several artistic disciplines.
for me painting does all that and more. when it is done right. and you don't have this need for music and
movement that is actual and that can be tracked and charted; on the canvas it's already happening-- it
never stopped. and in some rare cases never will.

plus you see opera with a whole lotta cunts. pretentious cunts. and that distracts from the actual solo
experience of you + the art.
